Marriage Proposal Ideas

We were scheduled to take some pictures for our church directory that day, so Steve suggested that since we would already be dressed up, we should go out somewhere nice for dinner that night and celebrate our anniversary a little early this year. During dinner, he mentioned that he had an anniversary gift for me and was planning to give it to me when we got back to my apartment. So when we got back to my apartment, Steve gave me a puzzle picture of us as a gift. When we were putting the puzzle together at my apartment that night, I realized that there was a piece missing. I thought he lost it, but he told me he found another piece in the box after he pretended to look around. When I picked it up, I found a beautiful ring taped to the back of the missing piece! Steve got on his knee and proposed, and as you can guess right now, I said yes. The missing piece is suppose to symbolize what is missing in our relationship -- marriage.

J and I went to a bed and breakfast in Vermont for our anniversary. Not long after we got there J started getting mushy and mentioned something about me and the relationship. I wasn't paying that much attention to what he was saying mostly because he was nervous and mumbling. (Sorry J, but that's the truth!) I knew what he was about to do next. J produced the ring and asked the question that most girls want to hear. Like I said I would do through all those other times he asked me to marry him without the ring, I said maybe and took the ring. We both laughed because we knew it was a yes. After a brief moment of looking at the ring, I realized that J never proposed on one knee like he should (all guys should). I made him do the entire proposal again the proper way. I answered maybe again just to tease him, but we know the answer is yes. All in all, the proposal may not have gone as planned, but J still got the girl.
